Simple Things is a modern toile de jouy that finds art in the domestic ordinary. Inspired by an afternoon exploring the historic kitchens of Filoli Estate in Woodside, California — where antique coffee grinders, copper kettles, and ornate silverware told the story of a gracious domestic life — each motif was sketched by hand, first in pencil, then redrawn in ink, before being translated into this French toile tradition.

A complete coordinate family accompanies the hero toile: a refined ticking stripe, a wildflower damask, a handcrafted checkerboard, and a block print cross motif — together forming a complete cottage-luxury interior story, from window to cushion.
